Dear All,

          Thank the ECCE simulation team led by Jin and Cameron for their nice efforts, we now have a integrated detector system implemented in Fun4All. Please see details in the forward email below.

           The next ECCE tracking meeting is scheduled at 10 AM EST on July 2, and we would like to have dedicated discussions about tracking performance evaluation with this integrated detector system. Please let us know if you have any updates, questions and suggestions.

Subject: [EXTERNAL] [Ecce-eic-phys-l] Full detector simulation setup updated with the June 2021 concept

 

Hi Everyone

 

Following the last two detector team meetings https://indico.bnl.gov/event/12079/ and https://indico.bnl.gov/event/12199/ , the default simulation setup has been updated to the Jun2021 configuration with https://github.com/ECCE-EIC/macros/pull/17 . This new default setup will be distributed in today's build around 5PM EDT.

 

This is part of the effort to update the detector description for the first physics campaign:

In the coming few days, we will further check and update the setup with 10M event test samples aiming to catch as many bugs as possible prior to the full-scale production next week.
