Dear ECCE Enthusiasts:
Please see the meeting announcement below - I think in general we have the
crossing angle implemented and handled in our simulations very well, but
there could be much more to learn by interacting with our colleagues.
Regards,
John

Dear Colleagues,
Following the announcement by the Steering Committee of the creation of
a crossing angle task force, we will have a first meeting tomorrow
Wednesday October 6 at 10AM EDT.
The creation of this effort was motivated after the publication of the
following note
https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://eic.github.io/resources/simulations.html__;!!P4SdNyxKAPE!VGyiOv4OaM5jW1RV2BXyiOWkFjy63DYob02StuOIIBge_SM4igMWmAeEp1xGkTuB3ojKMhu6SHzvQA$
and aims
to provide theory input and support to users and collaborations running
simulations with the crossing angle implemented. In the short term we
can address any issues related to work for the proposal submissions, in
the long term we can identify specific goals and channels that merit
attention, based on your input.
A mailing list has been setup

,
just reply to me if you want to be added.
To connect to the meeting tomorrow, use the following Zoom link

We encourage everyone interested to join and contribute of course.
We will have some overview presentations, detailing the current efforts,
implementations and needs. Afterwards we will have a discussion to
outline goals, priorities and organization.
Please see the agenda: https://indico.bnl.gov/event/13451/
Kind regards,
Wim
