Dear ECCE -
In preparation for releasing our proposal and public supporting notes this December, I was hoping to solicit some feedback on the use of BNL’s Zenodo service for this purpose, both for people posting documents and for reading them. If there are any issues or problems found in this, now is the time to identify and resolve them!
Ideally, I would like to report on this in Monday's biweekly, so if you could send this to me by the end of the upcoming weekend that would be great!
Just as a reminder, the service is accessible to everyone to read documents here:
Posting requires a couple more steps, as outlined here: https://www.sdcc.bnl.gov/information/services/log-bnl-zenodo-repository
1. In particular, you need to email RT-RACF-UserAccounts AT bnl.gov to request access to EIC-Zenodo and include the email you will use to access it (they say “institutional email”, which will be used by their federated login service, so probably your work one is best). A few tips are mentioned on the SDCC page I reference just above.
2. You will get a request to sign up for the BNL community via cilogon.org and then an approval will be sent to me, which I will happily accept.
3. After that you can access the ECCE community and should be able to post to it: https://eic-zenodo.sdcc.bnl.gov/communities/ecce/
Please feel free to try it out with any talks or writeups you have that are related to ECCE, and please send me feedback privately (positive or negative).
Thanks,
Peter (for the editorial team)
