First Announcement
Dear Colleagues and Friends,
With great pleasure we announce that the abstract submission is now open for the 2022 IEEE Nuclear Science Symposium (NSS), Medical Imaging Conference (MIC) and Room Temperature
Semiconductor Detector (RTSD) Conference. The 2022 IEEE NSS-MIC-RTSD will take place at the Milano Convention Centre, Milano, Italy, from November 5th to November 12th, during the Indian Summer period (Estate di San Martino, in Italian). After two difficult
years, we again have the chance to meet in person and speak in front of an audience! So please, consider to submit your latest research results relevant to NSS, MIC, and RTSD topics. The Organizing Committee is planning an outstanding scientific program with
oral and parallel sessions, an industrial exhibition, visionary workshops and interesting and up-to-date short courses. There will be ample time to meet your colleagues and to relax walking in the town.
As usual, electronic submission will take place through the conference
website. Authors have
to properly choose during the submission, the appropriate NSS, MIC, or RTSD Program and the appropriate topic from the topic list. Submissions should describe original, previously unpublished work. The
abstract submission deadline is May 5, 2022, midnight, Hawaii-Aleutian Time Zone (GMT-10).
Each complete submission must include the abstract and a summary. Please refer to the conference website for all the submission requirements, and for the hints on how to write
the abstract and the summary. Please remember that the summary is the main evaluation element for the Topic Conveners and reviewers. The summary is mandatory for contributions to be considered.
As in the past, the organizing committee is putting enormous efforts to obtain support for students, postdocs, and young researchers to enable them to participate. Please
visit the conference website to check if you are eligible for an award or grant and then apply for a Conference Trainee Grant and/or for the other forms of support listed on the website.
On behalf of all the members of our outstanding organizing committee, we encourage you to submit your contribution to the 2022 IEEE NSS-MIC-RTSD and we look forward to warmly
welcoming each of you in Milano!
Stay healthy,
