Dear ECCE Collaborators,

This email is to announce the start of the two-week review and comment period for the paper “Detector Requirements and Simulation Results for the EIC Exclusive, Diffractive and Tagging Physics Program using the ECCE Detector Concept”. Consistent with our publication policy, a presentation was made to the consortium at a bi-weekly meeting.  Slides and a recording of the paper presentation are available at:

https://indico.bnl.gov/event/15779/

A list of draft publications for review has been added to the ECCE website, along with links to the GitHub site for access to the paper draft and for posting comments:

https://www.ecce-eic.org/publications

As a reminder, the review process will be the same as that used for the internal notes in support of the proposal. Instructions for how to use GitHub to access the paper draft and post your review comments are located at:

https://wiki.bnl.gov/eicug/index.php/ECCE_Editorial

Please note that to access the GitHub site you will need a (free) GitHub account, and you will need to request access from Peter Steinberg (peter.steinberg AT bnl.gov). The SC recognizes this is an additional step, but it is necessary given the limited infrastructure we have available.

The two-week review period for this paper will close at 5PM EDT on Thursday, June 16th, 2022

Regards,

Or, Tanja and John
