Hi Alexander,
Indeed, we can disable TOT functionality and reduce (not really disable) the unused channels.
We can also decrease the bias current of analog amplifiers. We can save power doing that and keeping good performance. Roughly I would say that we can save up to 30% power.
Unfortunately, we cannot disable the trigger functionality.

Unless Pierrick asked you already, we are looking for options of reducing the HGCROC power budget for HRPPD application. Would anything like this be possible / help:
(1) disable channels 64..71 (or 65..71)
(2) disable TOT functionality
(3) disable trigger functionality entirely (now we simply assume the trigger outputs are ignored?)
Anything else? Presently we assume ~15 mW/ch ball park number (including shared circuitry) times 72, which is ~1.1W / ASIC. How far down can one go disabling the unused stuff?
