  Dear Silvia,

  thank you for the feedback. I believe in the present setup it is not possible to measure the spatial resolution precisely, because the fiber has a substantial numerical aperture and there is no focusing optics used. This circumstance is actually mentioned in the text, but I now changed the wording a bit.

  v02 will be distributed (and hopefully becomes final) later today once I collect all other feedback.

  thank you for forwarding the document.

Dear All,

the planning looks solid, even if somewhat dense.
In case something should be dropped because of time constrains, I would suggest as
second priority the space resolution. In fact, in my intuitive understanding,
space resolution will not be severely affected by the presence of the B field in
a DC-coupled device. Probably, the space response will be distorted
(= different central value, not so much different resolution),
but the distortion can be measured and then corrected for.
