List for the 2014 Hot QCD White Paper Writing Group

Dear Colleagues:

As you can see from the github repository, our status is very much a mixed 
bag. Some sections are in good shape, others have yet to be updated. I have 
contacted the individual section leaders, asking about the status and 
prognosis for their various sections.

I know it is early on the deadline day, and I am hoping for a burst of 
activity in the next several hours. I will be in Japan and/or in transit or 
the next 4 days, so working at a greatly reduced efficiency. Following that I 
expect an intense editing process on what I hope is by then a nearly complete 
first draft of the white paper.

You will note that “Summary” section is not yet written. I hope it is clear 
that is difficult to do so until all the other sections are in place. It is 
not clear to me if this needs to be very long, but it should of course be a 
strong statement of the prospects for Hot QCD. Similar remarks may apply to 
the material that is present in the current Executive Summary.
