Good evening, and Happy New Year to all of you!
Attached please find a draft of the Town Meeting Summary from the “Phases of QCD Matter” subcommunity. The finished document is due to be submitted to NSAC and the NP Long Range Plan Working Group before the end of the month. For this reason we need your comments on the attached draft as soon as possible, but no later than
Sunday, January 18, 2015, midnight (in your time zone).
When responding (to both me <heinz.9 AT osu.edu> and Paul <psoren AT bnl.gov>, please), please refer to the line number(s) in the document on which you are commenting,
and send a concrete wording suggestion for replacement or additional text, or complete citation information for any additional or alternative references you would like to have included.
Comments received after January 18 will have to be ignored, for the reasons stated above.
This is an important document which will help to shape the discussions at the Long Range Plan resolution meeting in April and the representation of our field in the new Nuclear Physics Long Range Plan and its recommendations. Therefore we are
eagerly awaiting your contributions to making this Summary the very document possible!
With kind regards,
Uli and Paul
PS: If you know of people from our community who missed the Town Meeting but should be given a chance to comment, too, please forward the draft and this email to them!
