Hi Paul,
Thanks for the comments. Carlene gathers the nominal telework days (the current agreement) for people. I view the sheet as the accurate 'this week/today' supplement.
Carlene could you include routinely in your time card reminders a reminder that people keep their current telework accurate in the sheet? Which I'll announce today.

Hi Torre,
I like it, it’s simple and lightweight.  I suggest that you have an extra section for people to record their “nominal teleworking days”, which will likely remain unchanged but may be updated wrt the original agreement for whatever reasons.  I think that would be useful information, and you make a reasonable expectation that people update the “this week” section if/when that changes (It already changed for me this week as I need to be at CERN on Friday, so no telework this week for me !).  Another suggestion is that people put a little post-it note reminder in their home office to “mark telework days” or similar.

Hi all,
This is the telework tracking sheet I had in mind

  • Someone not teleworking can ignore it completely.
  • Someone who always teleworks Mondays marks one X once and forgets about it.
  • Someone who opportunistically teleworks a couple days a week updates the X in the morning on a telework day.
  • It tracks 'this week' only.
  • It expresses the "not less than a full day" teleworking granularity that I propose. Not that people can't work partial days, they just report that as we always have, it's a partial lab work day not a telework day.
Reported vacation overrules this sheet, ie you don't need to update the sheet for vacation periods.

For your comments. Carlene this should meet the requirement that we know where people are?
