Good morning CSI,

Yesterday ASCR issued another funding call for Machine Learning for Complex Systems, this call was issued by their applied math program manager an provides research opportunities focused on this area. As we are again restricted in the number of applications BNL can lead there will be an internal down select.

Deadlines:

Internal BNL – submit CSI pre-proposal (see attached form) by Feb 15

BNL Feedback and Go/No Go decision – Feb 20

ASCR pre-proposal submission – March 1st

ASCR full proposal – April 12th

Limitations – 3 applications led by any organization, 1 lead per PI

Funding floor - $300K/year

Funding Ceiling - $1.2M/year

Duration – 4 years
