Dear Hong,
Please find my letter of resignation attached, I apologise for the short notice but as I explained to Torre there is an unmissable meeting on June 12th (Monday), hence my start date (Friday 9th) was the latest possible day before I will travel on the 11th. The work permit took more than a month longer than advertised and the long Swiss administration process confirmed my understanding of the treatment of non-EU citizens. Aiming to settle here without having any route to acquiring legal rights is in the end the deal-breaker for me.
Many thanks to all of you for all of your help and encouragement over the years. If my job had only involved my interactions with all of you then I’m not sure I would made the same decision, thank you!
Best regards
Paul
