Oh no! Well you're well rehearsed for round two :-)
I agree on "PanDA ecosystem" and avoiding the complexity of additional acronyms. Glad to hear your view. Yes let's discuss on Wed.

I neither anticipated, nor realized that I was disconnected until I finished presenting the slides...

Regarding a Panda-Rucio workshop, this is something I had in mind since the 1st Rucio workshop in 2018 and even proposed it during some preparation meeting, but it was ruled out. FYI, the next Rucio meeting is already planned and will be in San-Diego (it was already decided/announced at the last Rucio Advisory Board before the Rucio Workshop).

When we talk about Panda, that's probably better to speak about Panda "ecosystem", i.e. including Jedi, Harvester, etc. Not sure if we should already "be more forward" or be "thinking about preparing the way to do that in the future", but this is definitely a direction we should follow.
Let's discuss on Wednesday.

Regards,
Cedric

Hi Cedric, and leadership team,
This going through my inbox prompts some comments.
Needless to say you're on the agenda to finish your presentation this week :-) Could not have anticipated that interruption!
I look at this message from Martin... DIRAC and Rucio joint workshop... the big irony of course is that the workload management system developed from the start to pair with Rucio is PanDA. I had the suggestion from someone on the PanDA team (Eddie) to propose a Rucio PanDA workshop. I don't think it's appropriate right now to propose such a thing, because ATLAS is the *only* experiment using the two together. Although isn't it the case that Belle II is the *only* experiment that uses DIRAC and Rucio together? And who did the integration? We did! I'd like to hear your comments on these reflections, any combination of this thread, NPPS meeting presentation and leadership team meeting. Should we be more 'forward' about PanDA + Rucio at the community level? Or should we be thinking about preparing the way to do that in the future? One element in that direction is EIC/ePIC,  they plan to use Rucio and we have plans through our DOE NP AI project to establish PanDA at JLab for EIC. The formal ePIC decision on WFMS should come in the next 6-12 months. (The ePIC S&C coordinator, Markus Diefenthaler, is the JLab person planning PanDA@JLab with us, and said publically last week that ePIC should not adopt DIRAC(x).)

Dear Rucio community,

If you missed the DIRAC & Rucio workshop, or if you just want to
re-watch one of the talks, thanks to Eric Vaandering we now have all
