Hi all,

I'd be happy not to have an NPPS leadership team meeting at 6am SLAC time tomorrow, but can if necessary. At this point it doesn't seem necessary, but there is news, good and bad.

Zhaoyu has the needed card and we are told she can return to work on Monday. Will announce widely when we are sure.

HR tells us that federal regulations prevent us hiring a non US citizen postdoc to work remotely. Our excellent +1 candidate from the DUNE interviews who we had targeted for 50% AID2E and 50% DUNE, all needed approvals in place, is in this category. So we lose that great candidate, at least for this posting. We're thinking about where to go from here.
