All,

The successful migration to the FreeIPA-based authentication system
has allowed the facility to institute a new account creation mechanism.
As part of our policy to slowly phase-out AFS, this new mechanism will
no longer create an AFS account for new users on request. Existing users
with AFS accounts have been grandfathered in and are not affected. All
users are encouraged to migrate to CVMFS instead. New users requiring
an AFS account should indicate accordingly in the account request form
and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
