Hi all,

The GPFS appliance that we use for the storage on the IC/KNL/SKY/CFN cluster will need to be upgraded to a supported version. The current version we are running is running out of support in April of this year.

The GPFS update will not be transparent and CRAY (the company that sold us this) requested 2 days of down time.

The CRAY technician will be on site between 19th and 20th of February to carry over the update. We will also migrate the home directories to a much faster storage.

During this intervention expect not being able to log in to the cluster.
