As previously announced, on December 11, 2019, the
SDCC/RACF migrated to a unified authentication
system: IPA. Users who have not already registered a
password in the IPA authentication system, must do so
by February 15, 2019. On that day, the web and command
line interfaces for registering an IPA password using
your legacy SDCC/RACF K5 password will be disabled.
Users who already have an IPA password registered will
continue to be able to change it, if desired, using
the standard tools (i.e. the "passwd" command on the
gateways, or interactive hosts).
