Hello sPHENIX Spin Folks,
There have been a couple of private emails and MatterMost (which everyone does not constantly read), so here is a more formal email. I think it would be good to have a 20 minute run with ZDCN / ZDCS triggers only at 15 kHz -- yielding about 20M events. That way a full analysis of the ZDC/SMD in the current position and with the zero crossing can be made.
Is that a reasonable (good) proposal? Is it important to be early in the store, or can we do this later in a store to not waste luminosity? It seems like we also want experts available to make sure it is a good store for running this check....
