Hello Jamie (CC same),
Thank you for offering this opportunity! We think it’s a good proposal. With the same ZDCNS configuration, we will then have chance to see the Xing dependency of neutron survival rate and asymmetry.
We think that later time of a store is OK, but would like to secure the total accumulated data taking rate to be around 10k Hz.
- And we would like to have ZDCS single trigger, ZDCN single trigger, ZDCNS coincidence trigger be included in the data taking. (ZDCNS coin. trigger full sample, ZDCS and ZDCN with scale down factors if needed)
Thank you very much
Best,
Cheng-Wei

I think it would be good to have a 20 minute run with ZDCN / ZDCS triggers only at 15 kHz -- yielding about 20M events. That way a full analysis of the ZDC/SMD in the current position and with the zero crossing can be made.Is that a reasonable (good) proposal? Is it important to be early in the store, or can we do this later in a store to not waste luminosity? It seems like we also want experts available to make sure it is a good store for running this check....Sincerely,Jamie||------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
