Hello EMCAL,

The plan for next week's EMCAL review is being discussed at the UIUC 
workshop today.  Ed's plan for this hasn't been distributed to the list, 
here it is.

We should fill in the agenda page with titles and speakers while we're 
together.

     Dear Mike, Yousef, Ralph, Steve and Marc-Andre,
      I'd like to thank you all for agreeing to participate in the
review of the
     sPHENIX EMCal. The review will be held on the afternoon of Thursday
     August 20 in room 2-219 of the BNL Physics Building. This is
     the conference room on the 2nd floor on the east side of the newly
     renovated wing of the Physics Building.

     The review is scheduled to start at 12:30 with an executive session of
     the committee followed by  3-3.5 hours of presentations by the
     sPHENIX EMCal team starting at 1:00. I expect that the presentations
     will end by 4:30. This will be followed by a second executive session
     in which the committee should discuss their impressions of the
presentations,
     issues and potential action items. We will have a short close out
     at approximately 5:30. I'd like to have a written review report
from the committee
     within 3 weeks of the meeting.

     The review  is meant to be a brief but important assessment of a
key subsystem
     of sPHENIX. We would like the committee to evaluate the status of
     the design, construction and installation plans of the EMCal. An
evaluation
     of the overall project plan is also requested.   A detailed charge
is attached.

     I have set up an Indico page for the review:

     I've downloaded the sPHENIX Proposal and the review charge to the
     Indico site. Eventually the presentations will all be downloaded 
there.

     All the committee members should be able to access the page. All
     you should need is to have a BNL Indico account. Let me know
