Lesson learned.
Thanks and thanks again for keeping both gains for the beam.
Edward

PS. In a month I’ll be asking for 32 of those new preamps to build whole hodoscopic test stations (2 tiles with 8 fibers). We need 32 for the beam. With 80 stuffed you have no more then 16 for other hungrie's.

Hi Edward,

The decree was kind of a joke but the point was that I will no longer be building convoluted reset systems for devices such as the Rasperry Pi just because they contain neither a watchdog or “dead man” timer. The control devices that we are using are the type found in military, medical equipment and automobile engines. That’s why your car doesn’t just shut off in the middle of the Long Island Expressway.

Who wrote that decree …. why it is about “not to contain” only, without blue/ras - berries it looks like instruction on “how to create void” …

Otherwise - my summary is trivial: we have an excellent scintillating tiles and we still have a chance to install blends.

With proper SiPM selection and  dual gain preamps we may have all channels perfectly equalized (there will be only one common to everyone energy scale missing) and ready for the beam even before the cosmic calibration in high bay … But we should still try to do it and test my claim.
