With the help of  Rob, his 2 summer students and Steve, the V3 EMCal is back up and running.  Modifications include:

  1. Water cooling-  Switch on the power strip in bottom of cart next to table. Ask Rob if you have questions.
  2. New interface board-  Now has 16 LED channels that can be switch on/off individually.  Python script has been modified to turn them all on/off for the moment. Also fixes ground plane problem that lead to increased noise and eliminates adapter board. Steve upgraded the controller and interface code accordingly.
  3. Incandescent radiation simulator. DC power supply next to EMCal controls the lights.

I have successfully taken one short run with the LED pulsing.  Plot attached of signal in 16 channels
