Hi Abhisek,

Nice poster! A few more comments; please consider them and then you are approved.

(1) I still think it would help if you could incorporate something like the cutaway drawing in Jin's poster in the introduction. It doesn't need to be very large, but starting with the pictures of the scintillator doesn't convey the structure of the calorimeters.

(2) The section "HCAL Standalone Measurements" has a lot of whitespace now along the LHS. Is there more text you can add to fill this out?  Or maybe work in a cosmics muon tower plot to show the energy calibration?

(3) A quibble - in the last section don't break the "100%/sqrt(E)" between lines.

Hi Abhisek,

Nice poster! Here are some comments:

Something that seems to me to be missing is a picture or diagram of the planned sPHENIX calorimeter system in the early part of the poster, although you have a lot of words and description.  I know space is limited, but if you could fit a diagram of the detector or a cross-section of the calorimetry then the reader could connect that with the picture of the prototype as implemented later in the poster.

Fermilab Test Beam Setup:  consider putting an arrow labeled "beam" on the diagram?

HCAL Standalone measurements:  You have data and SIM compared on the diagrams, you should sat something about what SIM is (G4 simulation of test beam detector).

Can you remove the electron measurements from the two plots?  You're not making use of this for anything, and I am worried that it will be misinterpreted as the sPHENIX combined calorimetry response for electrons by an careless reader.  In any case it is an HCAL and your poster is focusing on hadronic response.

In the last sentence of the discussion of the resolution plots you say ""...matches with the simulation satisfying the sPHENIX physics requirements."  The sPHENIX physics requirement is not that data matches simulation, but that the resolution is sufficient, and there are no simulations on this plot.  Also the sPHENIX spec is on the combined calorimetry and not the HCAL alone. I would cut this sentence and use the space above to discuss the simulations in the context of the 12 and 16GeV distributions.

EMCal + HCAL -> Full sPHENIX Calorimetry Measurements  (a suggestion)

Your last sentence here should be something like  "The performance of the sPHENIX prototype demonstrates the calorimetry design can achieve the sPHENIX specifiaction of better than 100%/sqrt(E)  energy resolution for single hadrons."

Regards,
John
