Dear HCAL'ers:

We will have our usual bi-weekly HCAL meeting this coming Wednesday, Sept. 6th at 2:30 PM BNL time:

As you know, there has been a lot of discussion lately about descoping scenarios, and these discussions have included the inner HCAL. In this meeting we will focus on the inner HCAL performance under one possible design change, namely changing the inner HCAL absorber from SS310 steel to Al. We will hear from Abhisek on single particle simulations, Sasha Lebedev on hadron rejection, Dennis and Rosi on jet performance, and Anatoli Gordeev on FEA studies. The focus of this meeting will be on trying to pull together quantitative performance information that can be used in making decisions.
