Friends,

The IB vote to approve the EC members nominated by the co-spokespeople ended
yesterday. Dave and I are happy report that the IB approved our nominations -
we welcome Christine Aidala (Michigan), Huan Huang (UCLA), Jamie Nagle
(Boulder), Itaru Nakagawa (RIKEN) and Joern Putschke to the EC.
