Hello All sPHENIXians,

Following the sPHENIX Executive Council meeting last week, I have updated an sPHENIX note (linked below) with a proposed 5-year running scenario (2022-2026).    The objective is to include this run plan and the associated rates in the CDR.    If accepted, all physics projection plots and references to rates would need to be consistent with this scenario.  The plan includes p+p, p+Au, and Au+Au running at 200 GeV.   Feedback from the EC was incorporated including significant additional commissioning time in the first run in 2022, also with a lower sPHENIX uptime of 60% in the first two runs.   The plan also includes only one p+Au run in 2023 and a much longer p+p run in 2025.

All the calculations and inputs are available in the Excel file linked here:

Comments, feedback, corrections are most welcome.

Sincerely,

Jamie
