sPHENIX is a new detector at RHIC.

Dear collaborators,

There's a bi-weekly coffee hour for those who happen to be at BNL and
are interested in EIC physics, and since sPHENIX would make an excellent
foundation for an EIC detector, I'd expect many of us share this
interest.  The next EIC coffee klatsch takes place this Thursday, May
18.  Drop by, learn the latest news, have a cup of coffee, and socialize.

***Please note, due to availability, his weeks eRHIC Coffee Break will
again take place in the Lobby of building 911.

Please join Dr. Berndt Mueller, the Associate Laboratory Director for
Nuclear & Particle Physics for an “eRHIC Coffee Break” on Thursday, May
18th at 3:30 p.m. in the Lobby in building 911.  The Coffee Breaks give
us an opportunity to update each other on progress, ask and answer
questions, and get to know each other better.   Everyone from the eRHIC
community is welcome to join in the conversation or just come and
listen, in order to stay updated.

Typically, these gatherings are held every two weeks, alternating the
location between the Physics lounge and the Lobby in building 911.  This
week’s gathering will again take place in the lobby of building 911.
Please continue to forward my meeting notice to other members I may have
omitted. When you do so, kindly copy me so that I may gain a more
complete list of attendees for future gatherings.
