Hi Folks,
this will happen Saturday sometime between 7am-10am. The interruption should be less than 15 minutes but all connections (e.g. ssh) will be dropped (your nx session will survive - you just need to reconnect to it).

Description: 
A BNL perimeter firewall will be replaced with newer and faster hardware.  During the maintenance
 window, connections will be moved from the old firewall to the new firewall resulting in a short-term
 (anticipated less than 15 minutes) interruption of all network access from the Internet to the
 RHIC facility.  Since the state of the firewall cannot be transferred in this case, SSH connections will
 have to be restarted, E-Mail and Web access should simply become accessible again, and NX session
 information will survive the interruption but SSH tunnels into the facility will need to be restarted.
 Much testing has been done to make this interruption as minimal as possible.  Production jobs running on
 the RHIC Linux farm will be unaffected unless they access network resources outside the BNL network.
