Hi Joe,

I just looked through your slides which are generally nice. The only problem I see is with page 10 where the claim about x is even wrong at leading order. You would at least need di-jets for a LO x1,x2 measurement. Actually my plot from page 9 shows what you can do - you will always have some convolutions in x1,x2 but z and the scale are accessible. The point is that at forward rapidities and higher jet transverse momenta you reach x1 which are much larger than what has been measured by HERMES and COMPASS and at scales larger than JLAB11.
Please at the least take out the x claim and the COMPASS plot (or at least use it to stress the lack of higher x data).

Cheers,

Ralf

Dear sPHENIX Colleagues,

A draft of my talk for the proton structure workshop at the RHIC Users Meeting can be found at:

Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. My talk is on Tuesday June 20, and I have a total of 30 minutes. I plan to talk for 20-25 minutes leaving some time for questions and discussion.

Thanks,

Joe Osborn
