Friends,

Please see below. We're encouraged to submit abstracts to Hard Probes, and should certainly do so. We will provide a dropbox page for collecting proposed abstracts.

There will apparently also be a 10' sPHENIX presentation in a plenary round-table discussion.

Best,

Gunther and Dave

Dear sPHENIX spokespersons,

We are contacting you as organizers of the HARD-PROBES'18 conference that will take place in Aix-Les-Bains (1-5 Oct. 2018): https://indico.cern.ch/e/hardprobes2018

We would like to encourage you to submit abstracts on sPHENIX proton-proton, proton-nucleus and nucleus-nucleus collisions future measurements relevant for the topics of the meeting (nuclear PDFs, jets and high-pT hadrons, heavy-quarks and quarkonia, electroweak bosons, ultraperipheral collisions, future perspectives,...). We would be grateful if you could submit your proposed contributions (https://indico.cern.ch/event/634426/abstracts/) before the deadline of June 15th 2018.

Also, we would like to request a plenary speaker to present (10') your experiment as well as to represent your collaboration in a ~1-hour round-table discussion devoted to the "Future of hard probes and collider heavy-ion physics".

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,

Andreas Morsch, Philippe Crochet, David d'Enterria
