My condor jobs are in idle since 2pm today and my NX session was terminated this afternoon (Monday). Are these two things related to the upgrade?

rcf needs to upgrade the nx servers in the near future. The plan is to do a rolling upgrade - one machine at a time. The first one (nx01) is due this Wednesday. All sessions will be terminated.

There is one caveat - the GNOME desktop of the new nx version turned out to be completely unusable and we decided not to give it as an option. KDE is the desktop of choice. This is the reason for a rather slow upgrade schedule so you have a chance to transition (if you use GNOME) to KDE
