Hi folks,

nx01 will be upgraded at 1.30. All sessions on it will be terminated. Please save your work. As mentioned before GNOME will not be available on it anymore, the desktop of choice will be KDE.

The other nx servers (nx02, nx06, nx07) will be upgraded soon. Please use the opportunity to set yourself up with KDE in the coming weeks.

Description: The nx01 server is currently running NoMachine version 5 and will be updated to NoMachine version 6. Also the system will be updated to RHEL 7. With this update, the GNOME desktop version was also upgraded, but has been tested extensively and found to have issues using this desktop.
Please use the KDE desktop, any further instructions will be updated later in the NX documentation page.
