Dear sPHENIX friends,

The recipients of the 2019 US Presidential Early Career Award for
Scientists and Engineers (PECASE) were announced on July 2.  The
announcement reads, "The PECASE is the highest honor bestowed by the
United States Government to outstanding scientists and engineers who are
beginning their independent research careers and who show exceptional
promise for leadership in science and technology."

I'm thrilled to congratulate our sPHENIX collaborators Christine Aidala
(Michigan) and Yen-Jie Lee (MIT) for being recognized with prestigious
PECASE awards!  Congratulations to them and to all the awardees!
