Hi All,

My notes for this meeting are below.  I generally did not repeat
things already on the slides (Gunther, your slides aren't posted to
the indico, though).
See you all in China,

Rosi

general news - Gunther Roland

Draft of final S&C report received -
* Immediate Action on Staffing plan was hoped but will have to wait
until negotiations with BNL in Jan
* Will be discussed in S&C
Waiting on S&T report

Met with Berndt and Jamie Dunlop
* iHCAL info did not go to S&T committee but were used for the ALD
* Money is available but needs to be worked out with DOE
* Review ~Nov 14
Megan - Do we know what type of documentation is needed?
Gunther - A small document, but this is still in progress.  We also
need to determine who needs to be at BNL for the iHCAL meeting after
QM.

Workfest
* Video connection for outside presentation
* Send suggestions for content
* Ask students/post-docs to fill in doodle

QM
* Some posters need presenters
Rosi - Maybe some of the students/postdocs from the Chinese consortium
can present?
Gunther - We will discuss this at the pre-QM meeting
* Last call for pre-QM meeting

Project News - Ed O’Brien
Cost, Schedule and Status BNL ALD review oct 16-17
Review committee concluded we met all the requirements of the review
charge - allows us to go forward with the schedule proposed

Engineer staff is very experienced, many have been with sphenix since 2014
* Meeting very regularly, all material is available on indico

Many different reviews part of the sphenix p6 workflow and will continue forward

Document control plan vital - make sure all the rev. are correct
* A large fraction of the engineers time is spent on the control plan
to insure that we do not make mistakes and that we all know what we
are doing

Design is well advanced for a lot of I&F components - sphenix
installation plan is very well developed now

Work is progressing on installation plan for sub-detectors

Will not change installation schedule, but will change the forcast
schedule in order to give us more contingency so we can have
everything installed before Nov 22, 2022
