Hi folks,

we have another upgrade for sPHENIX. Our wiki which is run by itd will move over to sdcc where it will be integrated into the sdcc sso. This means your sdc account will get you in - no more local accounts for a limited subset of users and its information will not be world wide readable anymore (so we can finally add information without having to worry about cyber finding something objetionable). The plan is to do this move next Monday. The old wiki will be changed to read only on Friday morning so sdcc can get the latest DB dump for the new wiki.

For the few of us who have a local wiki account there will be instructions how to connect your local wiki account to your sdcc account. After the move all members of sPHENIX will have edit access so we can finally spread the load of creating documentation. We don't have a "documentation coordinator" and I don't see anyone taking on this role, so this will be more a grass roots effort. Basically what I am saying is that this power comes with the understanding that the sPHENIX wiki is not a playground for putting in random stuff.

Chris
