Dear sPHENIX colleagues,

We are holding a symposium to celebrate the life and career of Art Poskanzer, at LBNL on Friday and Saturday, December 9-10, 2022. We invite you to attend.

Art was a founder of the field of heavy-ion physics. He played a central role in the discovery of the phenomenon of collective flow of nuclear matter and in the creation of the STAR detector, and won the first APS Bonner Prize awarded for heavy-ion physics. He was a leader of the field for many years.
