Friends,

As you heard last week, sPHENIX has reached its most important milestone 
yet, with the end of construction and the transition to operations.  To 
celebrate the hard work over many years that made this possible, and to 
say thanks for the outstanding support sPHENIX has received from so 
many, we are organizing a party at building 1008 this Friday, May 5th, 
at noon. Thanks to support by the ALD Hayan Gao, lunch and dessert will 
be served in the sPHENIX parking lot. Please note that the RHIC ring 
will not be posted yet.
