Dear sPHENIX collaborators,

Michiko Minty, head of the Accelerator Division in the Collider Accelerator Department, prepared the slide below for yesterday's DOE one-day site visit and she said it was OK to circulate to the collaboration to bring people up to speed on what is currently known and planned regarding the valve box in Bldg. 1004B. When I first heard "valve box", I pictured something perhaps the size of a college dorm refrigerator. You can see in the diagram and photo below that it is somewhat larger than that.
