Dear sPHENIX Members,
Attached is the first version of the sPHENIX Author List. Note that this is not a complete list. Some institutions have still not submitted reports. Reports or appeals are under evaluation from BNL, National Taiwan University, National Research Nuclear University MEPhI, Banaras Hindu University, Florida A&M, and Baruch College. And multiple members have almost qualified, but still need to complete DEI training. In short, you can expect names to be added to this list in the near future.
If you expected your name to be on this list and do not see it, and if the above caveats do not apply to you, please contact the Authorship Committee ASAP. Everybody appearing on this list would be a regular author on all physics papers. These people will incur a shift obligation, including for the 2023 run. Team leaders should take note of this fact and notify us ASAP if any person should be changed to exceptional author status.
The list is currently ordered alphabetically by surname, but no decision has yet been made regarding the final ordering of the list.
Please check your name carefully. Is it spelled correctly? Is it capitalized correctly? Does the list use your correct and complete surname? Do we need to add one or more middle initials? Does your name contain accented letters when written in the Latin alphabet? Is your name written exactly as you want it to appear in sPHENIX papers? And is your institution correct?
Thank you for your help in compiling and maintaining this list.
Sincerely,
The sPHENIX Authorship Committee
