Hi Chris, Tony:
Same here. I submitted my renewal on August 14th, and received an acknowledgement email. My email from SDCC yesterday also said “there is nothing you need to do at this time, your guest appointment will automatically be extended and your account will remain active”.
There’s clearly some sort of disconnect in the process here, looks like the GUV Center will be getting a lot of calls today.

Hi Chris,
I received one of these. I applied for renewal of my user appointment in early September, my GR number was issued on September 9, and I signed the user agreement acknowledgement form on September 19.
My email says:
o Your guest appointment with BNL is about to expire.
Under the circumstances, I think I will call the User Center to check that they have not fumbled the appointment extension.
