Dear collaborators

We are pleased to announce the nomination of Greg Ottino from Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL) as a co-convener for the HF Topical Group.

Since joining LBNL as a postdoctoral researcher, Greg has made significant contributions to tracking detector alignment, which is crucial for achieving high-precision HF measurements at sPHENIX. We also anticipate leveraging Greg's experience in HF production at the LHC. His nomination has received strong support from the current conveners of the HF and Quarkonia topical groups.

Following our by-law, the spokesperson’s nomination will be brought to discuss with the Executive Council for approval. We would like to thank many collaborators who have input to this nomination process.
