Dear all,

Thanks for the useful discussions and the presenters at this afternoon's performance plot approval session. Below are the notes from the meeting.

Best,
-Megan

Approval April 1, 2025

>>>>Skadi

-Discussed why the 10-30GeV cut is applied to data and the Pythia 10GeV and 30 GeV samples are used as upper and lower bounds on the expectation.

-Remove the black dotted line for approved plot and can add for presentations
-Slide 6: The line is in the wrong spot
-Slide 8: Q. What is the bump at ~1GeV? A. We think it is beam background; we can exclude this region from the x-axis range.

-Fit the negative side and see where the positive side deviates to assess noise
-If time, apply beam background cuts
-Pythia labels should say truth pT
-Label Pythia + GEANT to indicate it includes the
-Inner HCal adjust axis
-Rebin to address oddities about zero

Since there are significant suggestions on these plots, we decided that Skadi will send around updates tomorrow and present in the Thursday 9am HW session

>>>>Ejiro

-Slide 4: Add centrality to plot

-Q. How does STAR resolution compare? A. STAR has done additional optimization so it is now improved but comparable to first STAR results with EPD.

-Make all text in legend, labels and title bigger

>>>>Jaebeom
Mass plots:
-consistent dat placement
-try to make text larger if possible
-Use integrated Luminosity symbol

Spectra:
-Suggestion to not show pQCD curve below 15 GeV
