The second shipment of magnet equipment from SLAC left SLAC on Monday.

Monday afternoon it was stopped at a police truck scale and found to be overweight.

Tuesday morning one of the power supplies was removed from the truck to get it to a legal weight and the truck departed for BNL and is expected to arrive here by Monday.

The power supply which was removed was weighed and is ~3000 lbs heavier than we had listed in the PO for the shipment (there were two of these power supplies on the truck).

The power supply is now in a ware house for storage until the shipping company has room on a truck to pick it up for delivery to BNL (hopefully within the next 1-2 weeks).

There will probably be extra charges to BNL for: the delay, the forklift & truck to remove the power supply, the shipment of the power supply to BNL and fines for the overweight truck.
