Hi Mike,

Do you have information about the much-talked-about LVDT's for the BaBar 
magnet ?   Eg. How many do we have ?
In the scanned page that Thomas Tallerico (in the C-AD Cryo Group) gave 
me, near the bottom, there is a line
of "Axial Positioner  |   linear potentiometer" and there seem to have 6 
of them (though 1 bad).   Is this it
（so it's not really LVDT but "pot" )   or  not ?

We've counted that we've got 28 strain gauges but we haven't that it's 
not mentioned in our documentation ...
When I asked Pasquale, he said :

"do you mean the displacement transducers placed at the cryostat
side for detecting the coil position?
If yes, I have no information, because they were provided
by SLAC and you cannot find them in the documentation."

So, it seems to be done by SLAC .... Thomas Tallerico is trying to find 
a data-sheet  ....

Do you have any information about them ?
