Just to let you know of the Fall Protection training today (1:30 pm) as described below, in case you feel the need to ...

 

If you need to climb up to do anything with the Valvebox, you probably need to use the Scissor Lift that D. Phillips has placed there.

To use the scaffolding there, you need to check it daily and you can’t step on the concrete block to get access to the Valvebox.   You

have to check the Scissor Lift daily, too, but since you have to operate it, it’s more natural that you’ll remember to check it J  

 

To use that scissor lift, you need 3 trainings as D. Phillips described below, and the Fall Protection is likely the most time-consuming one.

People like Richard Meier have already got the Fall Protection (and they just need to do the other two trainings).

To operate the scissor lift to access the top of the valve box (and dog house once the magnet has been rotated) the following training is required:

-          Fall Protection (classroom)

-          Arial Lift (on line)

-          Arial Lift Practical

 

John Maraviglia is trying to get a class set-up for the Fall Protection next week.

Please send me a list of whoever requires this training.
