Hi Kin,
All looked good yesterday but this morning we had helium background in the vacuum vessel so I called off the test. There is still a five to six scale leak somewhere else that we need to find. Apparently
it doesn’t show up right away. We will leave the helium circuit under pressure over the weekend with some components bagged off. With luck maybe we will find something on Monday.
Regards,
Ray

Hi,
I guess you've performed the pressure test, right ? Is it a success ??

I spoke with Mario on the phone. We have agreed to meet tomorrow morning at 9:00AM in 912 and hopefully put this baby to bed then.

Hi Mike,
We have already tested with more than ½ operating pressure as I wouldn’t have requested a safety witness without making sure that the test would likely pass. We are set up and more than ready, It will not
require much time to witness at all.

Ray

Ray:
I have a nuclear stress test tomorrow morning, so I will be TLD-less for a few days.
Mario should be able to witness the test tomorrow morning.
I recommend that you put up to ½ operating pressure before then to verify there is no leak (if nothing shows a that pressure, there is a high probability it will work).

Good Morning Mike, Mary,
Since out last attempt with this test, we have repaired two leaks that were found in the liquid helium system of the XPhenix valve box. The vacuum vessel is presently closed up and under vacuum. We are ready at this point to perform
another pressure leak test. Please let me know at your earliest convenience when you might be able to witness the test.
Thanks and Regards,
Ray
