This is great news, another big step in moving us towards the low field test.  Many thanks to Roberto, Paul, and the rest of the technical team for getting these lines up in place and doing the tie-in (and the successful welding).  I know that not only from me, but from the rest of the Project Management team, we want to thank you all for your hard work in getting the coil and all of its ancillary systems ready for the test.  There are many that are looking at this test to not only ensure that we verify that the coil works properly but also to see how we function as a project team...all of us.  This is a great effort and I believe that upper management and DOE are impressed with the progress.  So thank you again and keep up the great work.

1. Our 2nd/final welding (for the Vacuum Jacket) was done yesterday afternoon (after a successful leak check with help from the C-AD vacuum group).   I believe that
we're waiting for the vacuum level to come down to do the official pressure test/leak check with M. Gaffney (if everybody is available).

2. I've put 3 photos that Roberto sent me on Sunday (Dec. 20) here in the following folder (the top 3) when they were preparing for the field joint:
