Hello,

I'd just like to remind you that we’ll have another meeting to prepare for the cool-down/low-field test tomorrow

on Jan. 20 at 1:30 pm at the 902 conference room.

I just went to 912 to check. Unfortunately, it seems that Rich Meier earlier was called to work on RHIC (refrigerator …)

and I saw him working with Zhang Yi to test the sensor. ( Rich, standing on the scaffolding next to the doghouse, sprayed

some cold gas on the sensor and Zhang Yi looked at the lakeshore panel to identify the channel which decreased in temperature. )

Rich hoped that he’d finish this afternoon so that Ray Ceruti can close out the doghouse after that. I had hoped

that the doghouse closing can happen this afternoon.

Agenda looks like :

Preparation/readiness/schedule towards the cool-down/low-field test

Rich finished ? Ray’s closing out the doghouse (junction box) ?

Cryo connections done ? Pressure Test ?

Cryo sensor test done ? Closing valvebox ?

Dave: work-permit ? Barrier from power supply to valvebox ?

“Safety walkthrough” on Jan. 22 ?
