sPHENIX discussion of the superconducting solenoid

Yesterday (Apr. 18), the BNL photographer Roger Stougenburgh) and Karen M. Walsh from the BNL Public Affairs came to take picture of several of us (P. Joshi, S. Dimaiuta, R. Ceruti, R. Meyer, B. van Kuik … and myself) at the sPHENIX Magnet.  They had us power on a DAQ rack and pretend to be doing work for the Magnet testing (as if on Mar. 22, 2016) while Roger took pictures.

 

I understand that Karen is going to write a feature on the sPHENIX Calorimeter test at Fermilab as well as our sPHENIX Magnet Test.

She talked with me quite a bit after the photo-taking and she’s made an appointment to talk with Piyush et. al. on Apr. 26, 2016.
