Agenda & powerpoints can be found at : https://indico.bnl.gov/conferenceDisplay.py?confId=2666\

1.  The schedule/milestones (that I've collected from J. Hock, P. Orfin and C. Schultheiss) can be found in the above indico page.

 A.  Especially in J. Hock's schedule, it's assumed that the brackets/Jack Supports are needed before/when we install the Solenoid
which is Feb. 24 on J. Hock's schedule.

Right now, Ed O'Brien told us that he doesn't seem to have enough money to make the steel and welded brackets at BNL and
he's hoping to hear from Tony Frawley soon about the price to build the Aluminium and bolded brackets in Florida State University.
He understands that we need this to be ordered and made as soon as possible.   [  I also understand from John that he's working on the
precise drawing for this Al/bolded version as he's long assumed that he'd use the steel/welded version. ]

      J. Mills heard from J. Hock (who was absent due to sickness) that "Streck" has been "chosen" to machine the roof steels.

 B.   Accordnig to J. Hock's schedule, sometime in March, the platform will be built such that the Cryo can start their work.   Both
     C. Schultheiss' and P. Orfin's schedules mentioned that we need the platform to be done.

 C.  In P. Orfin's schedule, he's assumed one technican and the 8 weeks' version.  There, his 8 weeks came from the last 4 items (3+3+1+1=8).
As we've discussed before, if we can borrow one technician from M. Anerella (in SMD) or from sPHENIX (in Physics) --- which has
a reasonable chance, this 8 weeks may be shortened to 4 months.   Cool-down (for nitrogen) can start as soon as "pressure and leak tests" are completed.

 D. C. Schultheiss told us that he may have to buy some (~12) signal cables for the newer connections.  We have to check whether we have got enough 535 MCM
power cables (for high-current).   He's finishing a board for RHIC and he may start working on the DAQ/quench-detector during one the X'mas holidays (he
just told me) --- sacrifice for science !!!

     W. Pekrul has actually done quite a bit of his DAQ software and he thinks finishing by Mar. gives him plenty of time.

 E.  Again, we discussed about the subcooler that will be taken away from 912 (where we do the Full-Field Test) to Bldg. 1002 for the LeREC.
      R. Than told us again that it'll happen in July.   We should finish the test before then.

==> Therefore, in my own estimation without too much pessimism, the Cryo group starts working in late Mar. and we may have cool-down in May
==> the test may be done in June :-)

The critical path is when the brackets (at least the 4 on the bottom) can be made.  Otherwise, we don't have too much time cushion left if one takes
into consideration that the subcooler will be taken away in July.

2.  M. Anerella told us that they have already starting working on the ValveBox Extension assembly and mentioned about some repairs that they have
needed to do.   Later from P. Kovach, I understood that the door of the junction-box/doghouse on the drawing is upsided-down relative to what they found
in reality.  Since his design was based on drawing, they had to fix the problem by drilling new holes, which have been done.

M. Anerella still stated that the assembly is to be made in Jan. and hopefully finished in Jan. 2017.

3. P. Orfin mentioned about the Lead Cover Box/ventilator.  I talked with D. Phillips after the meeting and he still says that it's easy to do the lead cover box.
Though he prefers to do it when the leads and cables are connected, he also suggested that we might remind him again after the RHIC run starts (~Feb. 6) so
that they're locked out of the tunnel and he can then find time to think about this and do something about it ......

  D. Phillips is responsible for building the platform outside as well as providing the cable trays for all the cables.

4.  J. Haggerty sent us a PDF file with 4 pages (which you can find in the above indico page) in which he told us about the "Magvector MV2 3D Hall probe"
that he's bought and their "calibration efforts".   Achim was in the meeting and he discussed a bit ... there was a desire to put in their probes as early as possible
so that they don't need to climb too much.        Ed O'Brien mentioned that a couple Stony Brook physicists may also want to help.

5.  P. Giannotti will give us his plan/description of schemes for the connections through the Extension in the next meeting.   Due to holiday preparation, he's not ready
    for a presentation today.
